So proud to be a big girl

On Thursday, Brooklyn, Maddy and I went to get manicures at the beauty school, done by our cousin, Brindy. The girls thought that they were so cool! They picked out their own colors, bright blue for both! Crazy! I was glad the neon green and orange were too high for Maddy to see! I was surprised at how still they were, especially Maddy, although her thumbs were smudged within minutes because she couldn't stop touching the sparkles! It was a lot of fun to spend time with them, and it only costs $5 for all of us!

On a side note, I am having a really hard time with Maddy getting older, mostly because she is just the most perfect, well-behaved, sweet little girl and I will miss all of her little kid mannerisms. She is always asking, "Am I big?" so that she can have a whole (not half) vitamin. Before we got our nails done, I told her that she was big and that she got to go with us and her reaction was the sweetest thing. She loves to be a big girl and do things with us. The last two weeks that we were in Rexburg, she wanted to come everywhere with me, and I mean everywhere: my resuscitation class, the store, even the gynecologist! And while I didn't always want to take her, I am glad that I did. It won't be long before she doesn't want to do those things with me anymore. She is just the sweetest girl!
