25 Random things about Alissa

So everyone always "tags" me on facebook to do these things, but I would rather share them on my blog, a little more personal and not so public. Plus, I dislike having to "tag" other people, so here it goes:

25 Random things about ME!

1. I am left-handed! I love being unique, even if my husband thinks I look funny doing things!
2. I didn't wear the color pink from the ages of 12-18. I just didn't like it.
3. My favorite color is LIME Green!

4. I hate (or "do not love" as we say in our house) ONION!

5. I am a sucker for old people, especially little old men. They always steal my heart and make me cry.
6. I hate the cold, snow, and everything about the two. I don't want to hear about the "change of seasons" or "pretty scenery". Those are just excuses!

7. I play the piano, not regularly, but I can play it.

8. I am a nurse but still hate the site of needles on TV or having my own blood taken. My mom used to have to go with me for all labs after I passed out one time in the elevator.

9. I would be a full-time student for life if I could. I love school, especially math.

10. My favorite accessory is shoes! They are a girls best friend. You can have a "fat day" or an "ugly day" and always depend on your shoes feeling and looking good.

11. I love planning and organization, especially to do lists! It is hard, but I have learned to be flexible about things not fitting into my hour by hour schedule. Sometimes I can't sleep because I am busying organizing in my head. Medication? just kidding!

12. Even though Kate, Jen and Mom wouldn't believe it, I love to cook! When I was younger though, I always had an excuse NOT to be in the kitchen. :)

13. I slept with a night light until I was 14. I believe the Aladdin night light was the last one I had in middle school.
14. I have slept with my Suzy pillow doll (Snoozy Suzy, Suze, the Suze, the Ghost, that "thing") since I was 5 years old. She has gone all over the world with me and may someday be the cause of serious neck misalignment.
15. I was blind (close to it) until 2006 when I had my Lasik surgery! Best thing ever!
16. The longest I have ever gone without playing soccer is one year! Boo to Idaho for not having enough of it! I also used to be a goalie!
17. I'd never been away from my mom for more than 2 weeks until I moved to Idaho.
18. I have a Siamese twin. Not really, but Kate and I put on a good act.
19. Cadbury mini eggs are my absolute favorite candy, but strawberries are my favorite food.
20. I just started eating lettuce within the past 5 years.
21. When I was little, I wanted to be a "fire engine" when I grew up, then a marine biologist, then a doctor......now a wife, mom and nurse! :)
22. My most blonde moment would be when my sister and I got locked out of the house when I was 12. I told her to stay there and bang on the door so that if my mom called, she would hear her banging through the answering machine! .....yea......not too smart.
23. I have broken an ankle, a collar bone, 3 wrists, multiple fingers, 2 ribs, and cracked a sternum. I think all but 3 of those were soccer-related injuries!
24. My family calls me Sesa, Sees (for short) or Shesha (Riley).
25. My toe nails are always painted! And I mean, Always! Red in the winter, hot pink in the summer, and no variation ( except one summer of blue, right sisters?).
