March 31st was my 26th birthday, and Dave and the kids did a great job of making it special. To start the week, I received my birthday box from my Mom, Mame, and Z on Monday full of fun goodies and clothes for me and the kids. I love all of my new clothes and purses! On my actual birthday, Dave made me breakfast in the morning, and then I went to a class for work until 3pm. When I got home, the kids were all hiding in the kitchen, and jumped out yelling, "Surprise!" They had each made me a card (priceless) and had wrapped a present for me. It was new temple clothes! How sweet! Since Maddy thinks that the only thing you do in the temple is get "Mawweed, " she was very excited for me to wear my "mawweed" dress. Her and Dawson are really confused that we keep getting married so much! Brooklyn's card said that I was the best mother in the world and she loved me so, so, so, so, etc. much. Mason told me I was the best stepmother in the "hole, hole," world. (major step in the right direction :)) They were so sweet.
We went to Applebee's for dinner with Mom, Dad and Trever, and then celebrated with cake at our house afterwards. The funny part about the cake is that I bought it at Broulim's the night before my birthday. I was with Dave and told him it looked good, and he said, "Well we can get it now, or I can just come back and get it in the morning after you go to work." So, we bought it then to save a trip to the store. Maddy was cute when she said, "It's your birfday, not my birfday. It's your birfday." I think she was looking for me to tell her that it was her birthday, but she did enjoy helping me open my presents and blow out my candles. I really appreciated all the calls, e-mails, messages for my birthday. Thanks everyone! Who ever thought that I would be 26, have 4 kids, live in Idaho, and love it! :)

Happy late Birthday! I'm so sorry I didn't call and I even knew it was your birthday. I had the flu, but that's a really bad excuse, it looks like it was a blast. I'm so glad you got your own temple clothes, the sessions will be much more enjoyable. Those kids are so cute, I'm glad you guys are getting maweed alot, it's good for you! Love ya.
