Family Easter!

Since Dave and I are in Oregon for Easter, we had our own early Easter in Idaho before we left. First, we had a FHE on Easter where the kids had to find eggs with important references to the story of Easter. Once they had the Easter story and its significance mastered,we decorated eggs! I'm not sure what we ever did to my mom, but she sent a kit for painting glitter eggs! Wow! Not as messy as I anticipated, and the kids had a great time. 2 Dozens eggs goes really quickly with 4 kids! Last Saturday we also had an easter egg hunt for those that received all of their necessary "marbles" for behavior that week. Sad to say, but Dawson was not able to participate in the hunt, and he was NOT happy about it. The kids got Easter baskets from us that morning with all sorts of new goodies. We also had our full Easter dinner with ham, potatoes, vegetables and of course, a BUNNY cake! Brooklyn helped me bake it and frost it the night before. It was so nice to have Mom, Dad and Trever with us to celebrate! Now if only the weather would make it feel more "spring-like"!
