Grandma's Visit

Grandma came to visit a few weeks ago and we had so much fun!  She got to meet Declan for the first time.  It was perfect timing because he had just started smiling and boy did he give her lots of smiles.  She got to see Mason play basketball, treated us to dinner a few times, bowling with the kids, pedicures and a date night for Dave and I!  We were spoiled with lots of fun treats, great meals, and help with the laundry and diapers!  The kids enjoyed playing Blink and reading every night with her.  Because we have so many people in our family, Dave had to ride in the trunk of the suburban whenever we went anywhere so that the kids and Grandma could all have a seat!  We had this great idea to go to Boise for the weekend with the kids until we realized that Dave might have been a little cramped back there with all the luggage! haha!  I think she was shocked at the amount of laundry we produce in a day!  Rowan gave her lots of cuddles and was thrilled with his new basketball hoop.  He must have put the ball in the hoop about 40 times the first night!  He was exhausted.  As usual, it was hard to say goodbye!  It is hard to be so far away!
