Rowan's Surgery!

Rowan had his tonsils and adenoids taken out on Thursday and ear tubes put in.  He was such a trooper, flirting with all of the nurses and curiously playing with all of the equipment.  The surgery went well but they had a hard time waking him up, which was kind of scary, especially for Dave since he does anesthesia for a living!  Once he was in recovery, he was so miserable.  Nothing would make him happy and he WOULD NOT SWALLOW anything!  He really didn't do anything until the next morning when he drank a bottle.  Now he is doing fine and running around.  He even ate pizza last night!  He must be sore in the morning because he won't swallow.  He will hold food in his mouth for an hour before spitting it out.  Poor guy.  He is still sweet as ever, even after surgery!  It is funny how immediately after surgery he doesn't snore anymore and his cough and runny nose are gone!  I hope we are in the clear!
