We only buy Halloween costumes every couple of years, and this was it! We were our very own circus, complete with 3 clowns, a mime, a strong man, an elephant, and our follower- the Carnie. The kids looked super cute and it was fun to have a theme together. Next year we will add a lion and make Dave the ringmaster (we tried that this year but the costume is still on back order!) Last night we had our Halloween dinner: snake (pulled pork sandwiches in the shape of of a snake), witch's fingers (carrots with almond slices), ghost potatoes and goblin claws (cookies). We started the day with Mason's class party where I was in charge of Fear Factor ( they got SUPER messy). Then Rowan and I went to Brooklyn's party and had them play a balloon popping game. After the costume parade, Rowan and I went home for a quick nap before the after school festivities began. We trick-or-treated around our neighborhood, but it was so cold that they only lasted an hour. So glad to have this busy day behind us!
