Mason as a Mountain Man from the Lewis and Clark Era
AWESOME solar system made out of candy! I even separated the Nerds into colors for him!
Dawson 's first time as catcher
Brooklyn's first time pitching softball. She struck a girl out!
Brooklyn's soccer game. She scored a goal!
The kids only have 4 more days left of school and they have been so busy cramming in the last field trips, projects and performances. Mason's 4th grade did an Idaho History wax museum where they dressed up and stood like wax statues until you touched their "display button" and then they talked about who they were and what they did.
On Tuesday we had 6 sporting events between the 4 kids! That is 4 too many! Dawson and Brooklyn had gumnastics, Mason had soccer practice, Dawson had a baseball game, Brooklyn had a soccer game, and then Brooklyn had a softball game. Next year we are decreasing our activities significantly! There are two really painful sports to watch...girls softball and boys baseball (at Dawson's age). We had the privilege of experience both of those twice this week! Softball is so hard to watch because they only pitch bowling balls, half the girls walk, and the other half strike out (I don't even know what they are swinging at because none of the pitches are in the air). The 1 hour and 15 minute time limit is a LONG time. Hopefully they will improve as the season goes. Baseball is equally as boring because Dawson draws pictures in the dirt. He has had a few good hits though. Here are a few pictures from the week's events!
