This was our last two weeks in Oregon, after traveling every 2 weeks for the past 3 years. We added it up, and it was over 70 trips! I had a really hard time adjusting to life in Oregon when we first started, and never in a million years, would I have guessed that I would cry when I left, but I did! We have made the best friends there and we will miss them terribly. The past two weeks, we have spent as much time with them as possible. We even had 2 Thanksgivings!
We have truly enjoyed our time in John Day, and we know that we weren't saying goodbye forever. I am so glad there is facebook, blogs, etc. to help us stay in contact! I know there will be many reunion trips to Boise in the future!
