Roller skating

On Saturday the 31st, we had a night with just the boys and we had so much fun. We went to Johnny Carino's for dinner (trying to put some meat on their bones). I also have to add that they have an entire Gluten Free menu that is AMAZING, so I was a happy girl. Next, we went to an old fashioned roller skating rink. I laughed so hard watching Dawson get the hang of it. He was so persistent, and even though he fell about 300 times, he kept getting up and eventually was able to blade without help.
My favorite part was that the lady that owns the place was telling him to take little steps. After a few minutes and several falls, he lands on the ground and mutters under his breath, "I take little steps, little steps, and it doesn't help me." You could tell he was frustrated but it was so funny!
Mason won the limbo contest and got a free drink! He was so excited. I was pretty impressed because he hasn't been skating in a LONG time. I thought we would be there for about an hour and we ended up closing the place down almost 3 hours later! What a fun night!
