Family Home Evening

This week we had a FHE on being a Child of God. We talked about how we are all different and unique, and that is what Heavenly Father loves about us. We went around the room and everyone had to tell what they loved about each person. The kids had the sweetest things to say and almost made me cry! I can't believe how genuine they were. Then they each decorated their wodden initial with paint, feathers, and all sorts of other craft stuff. I loved seeing their little personalities shine through. Brooklyn wanted hers to be neat and thoroughly designed, Mason's was crazy and spontaneous, Dawson wanted plain blue ( I convinced him to add some decoration), and Maddy's was colorful and full of sparkles!

Things we love about Dawson: He is genuine and sweet.
He shares. He makes us laugh.
He listens ( I don't know who mentioned that one! :))Things we love about Maddy: She is well behaved. She has never said anything mean.
She always smiles and is happy.

Things we love about Mason: He is protective.
He tries everything, no matter how hard it will be. He never gives up.

Things we love about Brooklyn: She is nurturing, caring and mature.
She helps out with the little ones and around the house.
