Soccer Stars

July was soccer month in our house! Mason and Brooklyn played on the same team, and Dawson played on the younger team for the first time! We usually had at least 3 games a week! Mason and Brooklyn also had a week long MLS soccer camp with coaches from England and Scotland. They had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
Mason was born to play soccer. If his team won 6-3, Mason had 5 goals. He is really good at using his left foot and defending. He practices morning, noon and night!
Brooklyn didn't seem overly ambitious about soccer, but then again, it's hard when your brother is on your team. Just when Dave and I decided this would be her last year, she scored two awesome goals! It was great, and she was so excited and proud of herself! We couldn't believe it!
Dawson is a completely different story. His soccer games were hilarious! He has a much less competitive personality than Mason. He would run to the big group of kids and start kicking (usually no where near the ball), looking over to make sure that we saw him. If anyone ever fell down, Dawson would make sure they were okay. One time, Dave, Mom and I were talking and we didn't even notice that Dawson was missing! He was off playing in a field! So cute! He did have a few goals (one in the wrong goal), which he is very proud of!
