Finally Summer

After we got back from Oregon, it seriously rained for another week straight! I know that all of the farmers here pray for moisture, but enough is enough already! Howb out my prayers for sunshine? It finally got nice around the 21st of June, just in time for my mom's visit to Idaho! In order to prepare for her arrival, the girls and I all got haircuts by Aunt Lisa. Brooklyn had 4 inches cut off and it looks so healthy and cute! Maddy, poor Maddy! She barely has any hair, and what she does have is so thin and fine. She got her bangs fixed and a bob cut. She looks totally adorable and she did a really good job of sitting still. We have other big news in our house also.............

Maddy can ride her bike without training wheels at age 3! Yea! One day she told me that she wanted her training wheels off, so Dave did it, I got her all geared up with helmet, elbow pads and knee pads, and then she took off on the first try! Now she is racing around the neighborhood with the other kids. She is very proud to be officially "BIG" in her mind!

Also, our basement is finally finished! Dave and Dad are hooking up the plumbing to the sink, toilet and shower right now, so cross your fingers that nothing crazy happens! We now have 3 more bedrooms, a full bath , a family room and play room! I will post pictures as soon as we have cleaned everything !:) Thanks to Dad for all of his help!
