Christmas time!

Here is a slideshow of the last couple of weeks. We have been busy decorating for christmas, making a gingerbread house, making ornaments, and baking christmas sugar cookies! Thanks Mom for the ornaments, although it was really ME making them for the kids. We had a lot of fun, and we can't wait to get back to Rexburg on the 22nd.

On another note, this drive to Oregon is getting REALLY, REALLY old. Last night, Dave and I slide off the road after a deer ran out in front of our car in the mountains. We hit a big log or rock or something, got a flat tire, and our car was leaking oil everywhere, so we couldn't drive it. Luckily, a snow plow saw us within 20 minutes of the incident and called for a tow truck. About 3 hours later, we finally made it to our place in Oregon. It was kind of scary, but we are really lucky that we are fine. Every car that passed us stopped to see if we needed anything, which I was really impressed with. Now we just hope that our car is fixed by the 22nd because we are NOT spending Christmas here without the kids. I might have to start walking now...... Nothing says Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary like a new transmission, bumper and tire!
