Mason's nasty egg experiment. He learned about osmosis and diffusion. Good think his parents were science majors! :) He asked me if I poured EXACTLY 200ML of water into the jar. I majored in biology, of course I did!

Happy Baby Boy with his first real runny nose!

Idaho History Project (2 Kids down, 4 to go!) Brooklyn made her Idaho History game to be just like the game CLUE. She said the kids loved it and played it in class. We had rooms, game pieces and cards just like the real game! Poor Brooklyn typed all of the instructions and words for the cards! It took forever to finish, but we had fun together working on it.

Far Away Grandma sent me new toys, but I couldn't get past the packaging!

I really don't take pictures of him every night, but I love that he was hugging Clifford!

Warning: Having 5 kids is very busy! No one warned me of that! :) Haha! We have had a lot of school projects recently, football, piano, gymnastics and PTO stuff. Dave and Mason have done well with their football team, ending the season 4-2. They play tomorrow night to determine if they make the playoffs. Mason has adjusted well to the middle school except for some problems being responsible for his homework. Last Thursday, he asked me at 8:00pm if I could "make one of these really quick for him because it was due in the morning." This really quick thing was a 3D model of a cell with all of the parts labeled. Boys! Since he had the assignment all week and never told us about it and also because I already passed 5th grade science, he went to bed, did the project on the weekend and had to take a grade cut. Good lesson learned! Then, when I emptied his backpack yesterday, he had thrown the cell model into his backpack (made of brownies, frosting, and other food items!) haha! I hope common sense improves as boys get older. It definitely made me laugh.
Brooklyn finished her Idaho history project and it was AWESOME! She also started traveling basketball practice! Dawson loves 1st grade, although he is such a picky eater that I have to make his lunch almost every day! He thought that if he didn't bring his reading folder home then he didn't have to read. We got that little mix up taken care of this week! He is doing well in gymnastics and can do a back handspring without any help at all!
Maddy loves Kindergarten and her extra time with Rowan! She comes home from school STARVING every day and loves having play dates with girls from her class!
Rowan is crawling, sitting, scooting, standing, yelling, etc. What an active little boy! He eats big boy food now and sleeps pretty much perfectly!
Baby Boy in my belly is very active as well. He kicks and moves quite frequently. We all call him Bruce for now and Maddy has the other kids thinking that we are really naming him that. She loves the joke! I am 25 weeks along now and feeling good except some lower back and sciatic nerve pain. I wear a brace that helps a lot and I have eaten more sugar in the past few weeks than I ever have in my life!
