All of the Allens (except Hailee, Derek and Carly) went camping for a night in August.  Everyone knows how I feel about camping, but I was a pretty good sport. We went on a little hike, the kids rode bikes and threw rocks in the river, we had dinner together and roasted marshmallows.  The kids slept well in the tent, even Rowan.  He only woke up once, although he kept scooting out of his hat and gloves.  Dave twisted his ankle trying to hike Tablerock with James in the dark and I never slept, but we had a really good time overall.  I think I can handle one or two nights a year! :)
