Madison Madness

This last weekend was the "Madison Madness" basketball tournament. It was a fundraiser for the Burton Elementary, going towards handicap accessible playground equipment. I was in charge of a few things, so we spent almost the whole weekend there. Dave, James, and Dad all played on a team and they did really well, losing in the semi finals! The best was their Friday night game, when they beat a tough team at the very end of the game. It was super fun to watch them play. Overall, we made $14,500, and our goal was only $10,000. I love being involved with the PTO because it gives me a chance to meet other people in the school and community, to work towards a goal, and to use my creativity. It is such a sense of accomplishment to have this tournament completed after months of hard work!

Gibson was so proud to "hold" Rowan!
Being super good for Grandma Jones

Proud of Daddy. Whenever there is basketball, Rowan always watches it....he might have a future.
I don't know why James just can't smile for a dang picture? :)
Our team...the Lulu Bella Boutique! What a sponsor name!
All 16 of the baskets that Kendra and I put together with 5 days notice. They were worth about $3000 total and they sold for over $1500.
(No, I did not make the hideous spray paint sign...that will be changed next year. )
Uncle Nate and Rowan. Nate couldn't play because he hurt his knee. Next year, Nate!
Celebrating their first win!
