Allen Family: Welcome to the Zoo: Oregon is always more fun with the kids....

Dave and I have spent more time in Oregon than in Rexburg lately and it was really bumming us out.....until this time. We brought Maddy and Dawson with us for the whole 9 days and it was a blast! The time went by so much quicker than it usually does! They are two of the sweetest, funniest, most easy going kids ever. They traveled so well, with no unplanned potty stops in an 8 hour car ride! And who needs a DVD player when you have chalkboards and a Magnadoodle? We always started our day with P90x, and they would workout with me. We went swimming a few times, and they both learned how to swim underwater without floaties. We golfed whenever it was warm, and they each drove the cart with Dave. Maddy always pulled the pin out and said, "Daddy winned!" We hung out with "Amanfa" (Samantha), our good friend and made glitter pumpkins for FHE. They are both working on their numbers and letters, so we spent a lot of time drawing and writing. They also loved to go visit Daddy at the "hostabil" and look for baby deers. I know there are a lot of pictures with this post, but they were just so cute!
