Madison County Fair

About 2 weeks ago, Dave and I took the kids to the Madison County Fair with Mom, Dad and Trever. We saw all of the animals, and I was able to accomplish one of my goals since moving to the west: I had my picture taken with a cow! (I know, dream big, right?) It licked my pants and I was soaked, but I got my picture. The kids got to go on 2 rides a piece since they were so expensive. It cost $20 for our family to all go on one ride and that was with Mom paying for Dave to go with Trever. What a rip! It was really fun, although as I get older, I think that I am not as tolerant of spinny things. Mom and Dad got a kick out of watching our faces, and I laughed so hard at Dave because Trever was squishing him to the side of the car. The next day, we went back to see the rodeo. Now the kids want to get horses and sheep....sorry kiddos, not gonna happen!

We did not look this good after the ride.
