Guess Who's Five Now......

Dawson!!!!!!!! Dawson turned 5 on August 18th. We celebrated his birthday over the course of 3 days. Sunday we had a joint birthday party at the park for Dawson and James. We had cake and the kids all played on the playground. On Monday, Dave and I celebrated his birthday with him by decorating his room, having his favorite dinner (spaghetti and meatballs), going for ice cream and opening presents. He got Cleveland Browns gear, Buzz light year jamas and games, remote control cars and a new Leap Pad with games. On Tuesday (his actual birthday), Dave had to work, but when he woke up he came right into my room. I said, "Yea! Dawson, you are five today." His reply was, "Like wight now? Wight now I am five? Maddy, I'm older than you." He was so excited that it was finally his real birthday! Dawson is the sweetest little boy and he is at such a wonderful stage. We are always laughing about the things he says and his funny mannerisms.
This is Dawson at age 5:
* Very picky eater! Frequently tells me, "I am sooo not eating that."
* Doesn't know any colors besides blue but can write all of the letters and his full name.
*Very smart and clever, sometimes more than his older siblings!
* Draws people with crazy hair and no necks. Very cute.
*Loves to play the S-box (Xbox)
*Always the first kid to say please and thank you. Best listener in the family.
*Loves the movies Toy Story and Tarzan
*Eats cereal EVERY morning
*First one to get up and last to fall asleep every day
*Starts kindergarten next week
*Bats and golfs left-handed
*Idolizes Dave
*Loves to be tickled
*Can finally say the letter "L" but not "R" yet. I will be so sad when that day comes!
*Very cuddly and loves to sit on Dave's lap
* Loves to do the Macarena, Cha Cha Slide and Chicken Dance
