Okay, here it is! Finally! We had a wonderful Christmas here in Rexburg, and yes we did make it back. I know I complained a lot in my post about our trip TO Oregon, but I did not know that the trip HOME was going to be just as bad! It took 17 hours (usually seven), and it snowed for over 300 miles of our 500something mile trip. But, we made it back safely and had a great couple weeks. On Christmas Eve, Mom, Dad, Trever, and Hailee joined us for dinner. Mason and Brooklyn had a late night and wrote letters to Santa! (They were sooo adorable). In the morning, all of the kids opened presents from Santa. We had a big breakfast and then went to Dave's parents. Did I mention that I managed to get the four-wheel drive Acadia stuck in the snow and had to be towed out? Yup, that was me, not used to this crazy Idaho snow! We had a fun time having Christmas with everyone. On the 31st we flew to Ohio to have Christmas with the Linkos! We celebrated the New Year (yes, they all stayed up), and then had family Christmas on the 1st with EVERYONE. It was so much fun! Our kids were really spoiled by everyone! We played lots of games of cards, Rockband, Guitar Hero, wii games, crafts with Aunt Jen! The kids went to Build-A-Bear where Grandma got suckered into some awesome bears. They played glow in the dark putt-putt, went on a tour of the Christmas lights, went ice skating (hysterical!), and saw a movie. It was an exhausting, but so much fun! What a great holiday we had! Here is a slide show of all of our events. I know it is long, but I had the camera with me every second of the day!
