Update

I haven't blogged in awhile, mostly because the camera battery was dead, but Maddy found it one day on her continuous quest to find chapstick (she calls it yack-ick). We are in Rexburg, and today we are leaving to go to Ogden, UT for a triathlon that Dave is competing in. We are taking Mason and Brooklyn and meeting up with Lindsay and Jeff (and hopefully Hailee) to have fun and celebrate Brooklyn's 7th birthday!
The most exciting thing of the week was the package that my mom sent to all of us Allens. We opened it while on Skype with her and Jen. In individual boxes were earplugs, gum, fluffy white stuff (clouds or snow), a little airplane, and new years party favors! In the last package was 6 AIRLINE TICKETS TO CLEVELAND! WOO HOOO! We are coming December 31st - January 4th. I wish it could be longer, but the kids have a busy agenda between all sides of the family. I can't believe it! I started to cry, and the kids are very excited! Thanks Mom! My only complaint is that Dawson came in at 6:30 the next morning to see if we were going on the plane to "New Grandma's"! It is going to be a long couple months! I am coming October 10-16th by myself too, and I can't wait! My mom is the greatest, and it was such a surprise!
