Fun at the Circus???

A couple of weeks ago, Dave and I took the kids to the "circus." I use quotation marks because this was no Ringling Brothers circus by any means. The circus was made up of people who aren't good enough for the real circuses, so after begging and pleading, they were permitted to join the Jordan Traveling Circus. The ringmaster said that the performers were from all over the world, but Dave and I are pretty sure that they all had the last name of Gonzalez or Ramirez. Kids were "FREE," but it was $16/adult. That was our first annoyance. Second was the intermission, during which you could pay $10/kid to ride the elephants. Because we said no, we had to deal with four frowning faces, and you would have thought that our kids were the ONLY ones not riding the elephants. In the end at least, they enjoyed the bears, elephants, motorcycles, and clowns!

For dinner, we decided to take the kids to Craigo's after some whining from the older two because they wanted to go to Applebee's. Once inside, it went downhill from there to say the least. Kids were crying, whining, fighting, screaming, etc.

So......after $62, 4 hours, and many headaches later, we had FUN? at the circus???? That is still up for debate, but here are some pictures that look like they had fun!
