Today is our last day in Oregon until the end of the month. Dave and I went to church, and then to the hospital to finish up a few things before we leave. When we got home, he had put a beautiful rose and a card on the counter for my first "Mother's Day." It was the sweetest thing to know that in his mind, I still count as a mother. I loved it! What a great first Mother's Day!
Here is a picture of Dave blowing up his balloons. He has to do this twice a day to strengthen his palate. Once it is stronger, things will no longer go up his nose when he drinks! :)

I hope you had a wonderful first Mother's Day! I love being a mother of one, I can't imagine how much more wonderful it is to be the mother of four adorable kids!
