Late night

Mason and Brooklyn
Dave and Mason
Alissa and Brooklyn
The (almost) birthday boy
Tonight, Dave and I took Mason and Brooklyn to see an illusionist couple, The Spencers, at BYU-Idaho. Mom and Dad Allen, Trever, James and Meilei went with us. We had dinner at Applebee's, some dessert at Dairy Queen and then the show. It was really entertaining and family friendly. I had so much fun watching the expression on Mason's face while the tricks were being performed, and it was so cute that Brooklyn cried because she didn't want to see someone's head get chopped off.
I also have to share my favorite Brooklyn story from yesterday. She asked to see pictures of "new grandpa", which is my Dad. For those of you that don't know, he passed away when I was 13. I told Brooklyn how much he would have loved to meet them, and she said, "I know. That's why he is watching us right now." I just love the sweet things that children say!

Alyssa, I'm so glad you found my blog and hope you'll visit often! :) I'm not going private, I had more than the 100 email limit to invite on...so it'll remain open! Your family is beautiful...you look like such a wonderful mommy. :) And you all look so incredibly happy! Miss you and Rachey was so exciting to hear from her teacher!!! Oh! I noticed that you have a Brooklynn too! :) How fun!
