My birthday was last Monday, and we were in Oregon. Dave and I went out to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate, and I had my favorite, fajitas! We worked in the OR together on Monday, and then I was on call Monday night. Wouldn't you know, it was the ONE night in the history of the hospital that they had 12 patients, so I had to work the whole night. I opted to have my DQ Blizzard on Tuesday, so that I could enjoy it with my husband, and I went to work. Shauna, one of the sweetest nurses at the hospital, and her daughter came and brought me a flower, balloon, and Reese's Pieces. It was so sweet! I also got lots of great cards, phone calls and presents from my family and friends. Although it wasn't the ideal birthday, it was not so bad afterall!
